Picnic
Couldn't wait for my Mother's Day picnic lunch at this girl's school. She insisted I pack lunch in a basket, not a bag. We also had the same exact lunch - our favorites: turkey sandwich, cherry tomatoes, strawberries, sun chips and VitaRain. Such a beautiful day with my beautiful girl!!

Open House
Tour guides Haylie and James had their open house on the same night at two different schools. It was a little crazy but we managed to tour both classes and see all their beautiful work and the fun things they like to do at school.

Twins
We are alike in more ways than one, but today at church we were accidental twins, right down to the dark blue skinny jeans and cream colored flats.

Rivercats Day
Today was little league day at the Rivercats. The kids got to walk in a parade around the stadium and have a little "chalk talk" with the Rivercats coach and players.
It's cute to see all the little Tball teams here representing.
On the way back to the seats from the parade we had a little scare. James had lagged behind and gotten a little lost in the crowd. Micah realized and ran back through the crowds to look for him. He found James sitting on the ground in an open clearing, right where he got lost, patiently waiting for someone to come find him. That's two near children losses in a short baseball season - at least our kids are doing a good job showing they have learned what we taught them "just in case."
Other than that it was a fun day at the game with the team.

Game ball
Recipient of the game ball today for his improved hitting (thanks to Daddy practicing with him). Go James!

The little things
Trying to remember to be thankful for the little things in life...
An early day at James' school made for a quiet little park date with my favorite boy...
We found a beautiful new park and I was so thankful to be there in that moment.
