Best Daddy Ever
We are so blessed to have the best Daddy ever. Early this morning he left for a business trip and when we all woke up we found these sweet love letters taped to our beds. What a great Daddy. We miss him already!!

Daffodil Hill
Daddy has to go out of town this week so he planned a special trip for us to Daffodil Hill. We have been talking about going there for years but have never had the chance to go. It was such a nice thought for Micah to come up with this sweet plan and special day. We loved all the flowers and the pretty trails. It was so beautiful and made me think of Matthew 6 where it talks about how God cares for the birds and the flowers, and how much more He cares for us. Amazed by His creation today!

Don't waste your life
Listening to Francis Chan at Bayside Church: "When my life is over, I want to know I invested everything for the Kingdom." Francis Chan
1st grade Fieldtrip
Mommy was able to go along with Haylie on her first big school field trip to the local Zoo and Library.
I absolutely love the opportunity to watch Haylie interact with her friends. Here is her best friend Allie. Allie ended up in a different class this year but thankfully the first grade classes went on the fieldtrip together and Haylie was so happy to have Allie as her seat-mate.

Dirt Cups
I love being a stay-at-home Mom more than anything in the world and I hope I never forgot that or the special moments where I get to hang out with the kids during the day and make things together, like "dirt cups." The kids LOVED this project and of course being able to eat the yummy final results...

Easter this year
Easter this year was a little different than normal - with not much going on with the extended family we decided to take it easy. We did Easter Baskets, then headed to church and BJ's for a nice family Easter lunch!
